In many areas of big cities there exist hundreds of shops, coffee bars and restaurants from various cultural backgrounds:
local, Mediterranean and ethnic kitchen. In these places I started drawing and characterizing the people, their wearing and gestures and their dishes in relationship to the surrounding architecture in and outside their buildings.
The composition of the screen print 'Food Cultures in a Big City' is based on such sketches.
